It was the start of the north swell and I was in Dahican, a piece of gem in the Davao region with waters so blue I could stare at the ocean all day long. This was also the trip where I first tried shooting in the water and I had so much fun. Waves were knee to head high and most of my friends were on longboards, save for Hak who was using a 6’0 board. Shooting in the water felt so right for me, I was so stoked to see the shots that I took, never mind if half of those shots didn’t make the cut later in lightroom. Looking forward to the day I can live near the ocean and surf and take photos everyday without having to travel 3-4 hours on weekends. Someday.
